So while the present is screaming for the need of a divine reformer, the past has given us a clear heads up of his arrival.
The fascinating underpinning of all of this, is that all of the prophets actually foretold of a prophet who would appear in this day and age. All religions talk about a latter-day period, and that in this period a world reformer would appear.
It is astonishing to uncover that so many of these prophets and revealed scriptures of those religions talk about the appearance of a divine reformer in the latter days who appear. It is surreal that they all talk of a figure coming in a distant era in time.
In the bible it is mentioned that, and I quote: “Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken” (Matthew 24:29)
In Hinduism, it is stated in the Holy Scripture that: “Both the moon and the sun will be eclipsed and there will be much violence and death.” (Mahatma Surasji)
In the Holy Book of the Sikhs, Sri Guru Granth Sahib, it is stated: “When Maharaj will come as Nahklank, the sun and moon will be his helpers”
The Buddha is recorded to have said: “He will preach to you His religion, glorious in its origin, glorious at the climax and glorious at the goal, in spirit and in the letter. He will proclaim a religious life, wholly perfect and pure, such as I now proclaim. His disciples will number many thousands, while Mine number many hundreds.”
In Islam, Muhammad (peace be upon him) foretold that “For Our Mahdi, there are two Signs which have never appeared before since the creation of the heavens and the earth, namely, the moon will be eclipsed on the first night of Ramadhan and the sun will be eclipsed on the middle day, and these signs have not appeared since God Created the heavens and the earth.” (Sunan Darul Qutni)
It is fascinating to see all of these prophets and religions foretelling of a divine reformer in the latter days.
So again, where are all these prophets who were foretold?
And another question that arises, is whether all of a sudden a large swell of prophets would appear? And if so, how many?
Well today, I would like to mention something which may be radical to many sitting in the audience here. Sure, many will believe and recognize that there is a great need for the appearance of a prophet in this day and age. But what is not clear to many, is in what manner that figure would appear, and how.
Because each prophet of the past, each major religion, when foretelling this reformer who would appear in this age, referred to this reformer by different names.
So were they all foretelling different prophets? Would there be many prophets who would appear today?
In reality, each religion and each prophet advised their own people in terms they would understand. A second coming of Krishna. A second coming of Buddha. A second coming of Jesus. A second coming of Muhammad. Peace be upon them all.
In reality, they were all speaking of one person. One reformer, who would be commissioned by God to spark belief within man once again. Who would be sent to bring mankind once again.
